# Cancel a listing

A listing that has not been funded can be cancelled at any time by the borrower.

## What happens

1. Open the deal and choose **Cancel listing**. The app asks once: `Take 12.5 NVDA off the market? KEEP LISTED / CANCEL LISTING`.
2. The deal moves to **CANCELLED**. The collateral is credited to your balance.
3. Withdraw it to your wallet with one button on Portfolio or the deal page.

A cancelled listing earns no rewards. Cancelling can never be paused by anyone.

## What cannot be cancelled

A funded deal. Once a lender has funded it, the deal runs to the borrower's decision. You can reclaim early at the full cap at any time, which ends the deal the same way reclaiming at expiry does.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.gage.cash/borrow/cancel.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
